The ideal bath If adults may enjoy lounging in a nice hot bath after a hard day, the skin much less so!
Especially children who have extremely dry skin.
In fact, a hot bath will reduce the layer of fat on its surface that is so essential to play the role of a skin barrier.
Should you completely deprive your child of this? Not necessarily. Especially if he loves playing in the bathtub!
You could offer him two or three baths per week. The only precaution: leave it to its adventures for only ten minutes in water between 35 and 37°C.
For more peace of mind, or even efficiency, you can add a specific baby-child bath oil.
Two or three caps are enough and the benefits are multiple: in addition to offsetting the drying effects of washing, the oil will help replenish the entire body and instantly soothe feelings of irritation.
It also remains very practical: there is no need to rinse it! The ideal shower The rest of the time, prefer to pamper him in 5-minute showers at 35°C maximum.
To avoid damaging your skin, choose a soap-free bar or a superfatted gel with the physiological pH of the skin. Better!
In order to provide the most comfort, you can also benefit from the benefits of a specific baby-child cleansing cream for atopic-prone skin. Perfect for your body as well as your face, it will make it clean with maximum protection. From birth, it will relieve your baby by leaving his skin supple and silky and reducing tightness.
An added bonus: it doesn't sting the eyes! When drying it, it is better to avoid rubbing it or rubbing it: a dabbing effect with the towel is ideal and so much more delicate.
Another precaution: remember to cut your nails regularly and remove your jewelry before washing so as not to inadvertently scratch it.
You have everything in hand to offer him maximum tenderness!
